Hello! My name is Madison McTighe.
My background in specialized support for children with disabilities starts with my time at Renfrew Educational Services in 2019. Throughout my time with Renfrew, I received professional training and gained valuable hands-on classroom experience as a Child Development Facilitator. My role included supporting various teacher-therapy teams in implementing and modifying programs for children with severe special needs. These programs worked to promote communication, fine/gross motor development, social development, and daily living skills.
I have also served as a nanny for many years and worked in respite with young adults on the autism spectrum. In these roles, I focused on meeting diverse family/student needs and objectives.
Thanks to my firsthand experience and knowledge in this field, I've cultivated the skills needed to become an effective RPM practitioner. I am passionate about RPM; it is truly life-changing and transformative for the students and families who utilize it.
I started Visual Voices recognizing the critical need for effective and accessible specialized services in Calgary, led by individuals who genuinely care and are committed to ongoing learning, adaptation, and improvement. Visual Voices is dedicated to addressing all behaviors and challenges, always striving to provide current, well-informed, and top-tier care.
